What is NB Project

The NB Project is a tool to manage projects open-source and multi-platform focused on the management of software projects. Using the architecture client/server with the client built on Platform Netbeans and therefore has many features found on the Netbeans as: modularisation, extension, to incorporate Netbeans so. I always searched for open-source alternative tools that could plan and manage projects of software so simple and intuitive. I found several interesting projects as: Planner, GanttProject, OpenProj e dotProject. All implemented the core functions of planning (of time - that I needed at the moment) but what I drew most attention was the GanttProject by its ease, lightness, be multi platform and the main ones: MS Project import and exported the planning of project in various formats (HTML, pdf).

Then I started to use the GanttProject to manage my projects. I created planning, exported to HTML using a template customized by me and published on the Internet so that all resources could see their activities. The resources accessed the site of the project, saw its activities and carried out.

So far, so good. But to manage the project and know the progress of the tasks I had to talk to each one of my resources. -- How is the task? It ends at the time? ...
